About the Journal:

Journal for Transdisciplinary Research in Arts and Sciences (JTRAS) published its first printed issue in 2011 and published its first online version in 2022. JTRAS is a rigorous peer-reviewed 'open access journal' that is published biannually. Submissions on a wide variety of topics are welcome. Most articles are STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) and healthcare research focus. The Journal also publishes invited review articles and opinion/perspective articles by scientists with long-standing expertise pertaining to the fields within its scope to highlight knowledge gaps and suggest possible courses for future research or new concepts.

Transdisciplinary Research is defined as research efforts conducted by investigators from different disciplines working jointly to create new conceptual, theoretical, methodological, and translational innovations that integrate and move beyond discipline-specific approaches to address a common problem.

Review Policy:

All submissions to JTRAS are initially checked for plagiarism and verified before being sent forward to be evaluated by an editor to decide if they are acceptable for peer review. When an editor approves a manuscript for publication, it is sent to two subject experts for review. Since each article is assigned a code name and the author's full identity is deleted from the manuscript, each review is fully anonymous.
